Gay Head Lighthouse positioned half-on the new foundation. May 29, 2015
May 29, 2015 – According to engineers at the work site this afternoon, the move has gone so smoothly that the lighthouse should be fully on its new foundation Saturday morning. The public is invited to visit and view the lighthouse in its new location tomorrow, Saturday, May 30. Free parking in the Aquinnah Circle. Lighthouse tee shirts and other memorabilia will be for sale, and donations to continue funding the project are always welcome!
