The Save the Gay Head Lighthouse Committee today announced that country music legend Rosanne Cash will appear in concert on the Vineyard on Tuesday, July 1 at a benefit for the relocation and restoration of Gay Head Light. The daughter of music icon Johnny Cash and a Grammy winner in her own right, Cash has recorded 13 albums and is currently on tour promoting her latest, “The River & The Thread.”
The Flatbread Company has donated the venue for the benefit. In addition, Vineyard resident and well-known stage and screen star Tony Shalhoub will auction off a series of fabulous items during the evening.
Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets will be $200 in advance and $250 at the door and are currently available online at TicketsMV.com. Beginning on May 15, tickets will also be available for purchase at the following on-island locations: Alley’s General Store, the Aquinnah Town Hall, and Midnight Farm.
