The Aquinnah/Gay Head Community Association will hold a wine and cheese reception on Tuesday, August 12 starting at 5 p.m. at the Aquinnah Old Town Hall, 65 State Road. No admission fee and ample free parking. The topic will be SAVE THE GAY HEAD LIGHT. Rick Lohr (President) and Joe Jakubik (Manager, Historical Preservation Division) of International Chimney, the company that will be moving the Light, will discuss the complicated planning and fascinating procedures that will be involved in moving the lighthouse to its new, safe location.
